New York has Chelsea Market and Washington D.C. has Union Market, so it’s only natural that Philly steps up to the plate with The Bourse Marketplace. Today MRP Realty announced the first round of signed tenants for the new space, which is apart of the redevelopment of the Bourse and set to open in the summer of 2018.
“The Bourse is an amazing building with a rich history of its own that dates to the 1890’s on Independence Mall, since before there was an Independence Mall,” says Charles McGrath, Managing Director of MRP Realty. “We are excited to restore and reveal the original architectural charm and detail that The Bourse holds.”
If you’re looking for a place to grab food or drinks in the Old City neighborhood, this will definitely become a prime spot. Here are the first few vendors that have been announced:
Bluebird Distilling
This Phoenixville-based distillery comes to The Bourse Marketplace with a full craft cocktail bar and retail store.
