Welcome back, Spencer Pratt!

Remember how last week we were all freaked out that Spencer Pratt was acting like a sane adult? (While you’re at it, please don’t remember how many times we’ve promised to stop talking about him.) Well, no cause for alarm: He was arrested in Costa Rica over the weekend — where his ex-wife Heidi Montag has been hiding out — and was kind enough to issue a rambling statement about it.

After being released on firearm possession charges, he told his side to TMZ: “As I departed the country this morning to continue my spiritual journey, I mistakenly brought my hunting weapons to the airport. It was an honest mistake, and they sent me on my way. On an unrelated note, I’m not allowed in the country anymore — but that’s because of the chicken incident.”

Now, we refuse to Google “Spencer Pratt chicken incident.” It’s simply not happening.

But we do extend our sincerest condolences to the chicken and its family.
