Philadelphians can book sessions for up to 4 people in a sauna ($120), 8 people in two saunas ($240), or 12 people in three saunas ($360) for 45 minute sessions. Wellness Walks at Morris Arboretum

Taking place Saturdays and Sundays from now until March 2025, Philadelphians can head to the scenic Morris Arboretum to participate in weekly Wellness Walks (10:30 to 11:30 a.m.) Led by an experienced volunteer guide, these brisk walks will stick to the paved paths and are free with admission.

While there, Philadelphians can also explore Morris’ fernery, tree canopy walk, fairy gardens, historic structures and perhaps catch the venue’s swans, Flora and Fauna, while at the swan pond (plus keep an eye out for some koi.)

Lumos Yoga + Barre

With two locations already running, Lumos has its eye set on mid-January to open its third studio. Located at the corner of 19th and Spring Garden streets, this new locale will exclusively offer mat and springboard pilates, plus reformer classes. As a release notes, the studio spans nearly 5,000 square feet with two spacious rooms: one for reformer classes and another dedicated to mat and springboard pilates – plus multiple dedicated spaces for private sessions.

With this increased capacity for reformers, Lumos says they’re “going to make a big change to how pilates classes are traditionally priced.” All of their classes at this new studio, including group reformer classes, will be included in their drop-in, membership, and package pricing options (more information can be found online.)  The new Spring Garden studio follows the Parrish Street location (opened in January 2023) and the original Green Street location (opened in June 2018). Classes at the Spring Garden location will be available for booking soon on Momence.
