West Philly man tied up in home invasion: Cops

Two men forced their way into a West Philly home early Sunday and tied up the victim before robbing him, according to investigators.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m., policesaid. The suspects were described as two black males who alleged forced their way into the victim’s apartment through their front door.

The victim was tied up with a phone cord and had his eyes covered during the robbery, ABC reported.

The thieves allegedly took two cell phones, a wallet and car keys, police said, before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The victim was able to call 911 and was treated at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for injury to his right eye, lacerations to the right side of his rib cage, and was listed in stable condition.

No arrests were reported as of Sunday.
