Austin, Texas-based Snap Kitchen is making the move to the East Coast — and we get them first. The take-out joint, focused on nutritious, well-portioned meals, is opening up seven locations in the Philly area this year, including four in the city.
What you’ll be eating when you stop in to pick up a quick, easy meal is freshly made, ready-to-go breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, with options for pretty much any diet, including vegetarian, vegan, paleo, dairy-free, low-sodium, low-carb and combinations of the above. Most of the menu is gluten-free, like the chimichurri beef for dinner (380 calories, $10.49 for the largest portion) or the bison breakfast bowl (300 calories, $8.99 for the large). Cold-pressed juices, salads, soups, snacks, dessert, coffee and tea will also be available.

Three Snap Kitchens in Philly, plus one in the ‘burbs, are slated to open next month:
• 19th and Chestnut in Rittenhouse Square
• Third and Market in Old City
• 20th and Callowhill in Fairmount
• 5 S. Morehall Road in Malvern
And three more will open later this year, at 11th and Walnut and at to-be-determined sites in Villanova and over the bridge in Cherry Hill.
