Chinese New Year Dim Sum Brunch

What better way to celebrate the Year of the Pig than by indulging in a delicious Dim Sum brunch. Delicious menu items representing togetherness, long life and wealth include longevity noodles, whole roasted branzino, eight treasure rice and more. There is also a whole suckling pig feast served with egg fried rice, longevity noodles, steamed bao buns and mu shu pancakes that serves 4-6 people available for $250 (via pre-order only by Feb.6). Chinese Galleries at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

The Philadelphia Museum of Art opened their newly re-vamped Chinese gallery on Feb. 3 and all Philadelphians are invited to explore its magic. The gallery follows four thousand years of the arts of China in the museum’s newly reimagined and reinstalled exhibit space. Interesting works of art in the gallery include paintings, sculptures, porcelains, ceramics, costumes and textiles. Many of the works are newly conserved. A great way to celebrate the Chinese New Year in Philadelphia.

Buddakan AC Chinese New Year Celebration 

Buddakan in Atlantic City is taking the Year of the Pig up a notch. On Feb. 9 the hotspot eatery will display traditional Chinese lanterns throughout the enchanted Asian garden in the restaurant to make the dining experience even more special. Buddakan will also be serving up longevity noodles to ensure a prosperous and delicious year, and guests can also bring home a Chinese good luck red envelope (which is a time-honored tradition used to give good luck to the receiver); each envelope has a special surprise inside.

Lunar New Year 2019 Celebration 

The International House of Philadelphia is hosting their Lunar New Year celebration in honor of the Year of the Pig. This annual showcase will feature traditional Chinese music, dance, martial arts, and film along with a reception that includes cultural activities and a sampling of authentic Chinese cuisine by Sang Kee Noodle House. An amazing way to celebrate the Chinese New Year in Philadelphia.

SuGa’s  Chinese New Year Dinner

SuGa is celebrating the Year of the Pig with a delicious menu that also features Cinco Jotas-the most expensive ham in the world.
