Where to watch the Phillies keep the fightin’ spirit going

Playoffs baby. If like most of the city, you’re looking for some spots to post up and watch the Phillies play this week, there are a couple of venues offering some fun specials and activations to get everyone into the fightin’ spirit.

This South Philly hotspot will be hosting watch parties while the Phillies take on the Atlanta Braves. Game 1 took place this Tuesday at 1 p.m., but for future games (Game 2 is set for Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 4:35 p.m.), viewers can watch the Fightin’ Phil’s on the big screen while also enjoying some specials. 

According to a release, in partnership with Budweiser and the Phillies, Xfinity Live! is laying out the works for dynamic game-watching, including drink specials, pre-game trivia, and free parking. The complete list of offerings include $3 Budweiser & Bud Light bottles, free parking at Xfinity Live! in Lot S and Lot T on Wednesday, 32-foot screens to watch the game on at NBC Sports Arena, a live DJ spinning music during commercials and interactive pre-game trivia with a chance to win Phillies playoff swag, starting at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

CO-OP Restaurant & Bar

Over in West Philly, CO-OP is celebrating every Philly sports team with a Game Day Happy Hour. The open air restaurant located at the corner of 33rd and Chestnut will host a slew of specials every time a local team plays—whether its the Eagles, Sixers, Flyers or of course, the Phillies. 

As a release states, the Game Day Happy Hour includes: Blistered Shishito Peppers ($12, accompanied by Lemon Vinaigrette), Green Garlic Hushpuppies ($10, said to be a must-try for any hushpuppy fan, served with Tarragon Mayo), Pork Rinds ($8, served with Sour Cream Dip), Fancy Fries ($10, spiced with CO-OP’s signature blend and served with aioli), and the CO-OP Party Mix ($5 popcorn mix seasoned with Old Bay).

The game-time snacks come hand-in-hand with drink specials as well. On game day, visitors can indulge in a $6 Citywide, plus select beers and well-mixed drinks ranging from $4 to $6. CO-OP is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch, with the bar serving from 4 to 10 p.m.

Aramark Sports + Entertainment at Citizen’s Bank Park

On Friday, Oct. 14, Philadelphians will be able to try some new menu items while watching the game at Citizen’s Bank Park from Executive Chef Vonnie Negron. As the release states, the chef has drawn inspiration from the season to create a menu that is full of warm, crisp flavors at the home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Menu items being offered include Chickie’s & Pete’s Crabby Sweets (located at Chickie’s and Pete’s, Section 102) which includes seasoned sweet potato fries served with sides of warm cinnamon-maple sauce and cheese sauce for $12.99, the Phillies Gobbler (located in Section 139) made with in-house carved turkey, homemade stuffing, and cranberry sage aioli on an amoroso long roll with a side of turkey gravy for $14.99, and a S’more Milkshake (located at Boardwalk Treats in Section 142) made with Richman’s Vanilla Soft Serve hand-spun with chocolate syrup, graham crackers, and marshmallow topping for $8.99.
