With Love, Occupy Philly Satirizes GPTMC Marketing Campaign

While New York has its Hot Chicks of Wall Street tumblr, Occupy Philly has its own blog – albeit a less sexy one – that revels in the lighter side of the protest movement.

The With Love, Occupy Philly tumblr describes itself as “a satirical take on GPTMC’s ‘With Love’ Philadelphia tourism campaign.” The website posts mock ads that say things like, “Dear Wall Street, You look like you could use a vacation. Like, permanently. With orange jumpsuits,” written in the GPTMC campaign’s signature scribble and signed With Love, Occupy Philly XOXO.

Each is written in homage to a specific ad (for instance, “Dear Wall Street, You look like you could use a vacation. P.S. And a hot stone massage. Book me at visitphilly.com. With Love, Philadelphia XOXO”), which is described on the site. Below are some of our favorites, all courtesy of the
