Without A Cue Productions is back, but this time they’re taking their talents to the coastal town of Atlantic City with two productions that pay homage to the popular shows of the 70s, 80s and 90s.

“Celebrate with us as we throw-it back for a campy summer at the shore with ‘Mrs. Roper Romp’ and ‘A Golden Girls Murder Mystery,'” said Without a Cue Founder and Executive Director Traci Connaughton. “We are thrilled to be back at Resorts Casino Hotel for another beach season in the historic Starlight Ballroom. Don’t forget to pack your favorite caftan, curly red wig and magnifying glass, as we are turning up the nostalgia for two big shows that open this July.”

The experiences are set to open Saturday, July 12 at Resorts Casino Hotel (1133 Boardwalk.) ‘The Golden Girls’ campy whodunit styled production (a format the company is known for) recruits audiences to cast their vote and catch the culprit—with a cast that includes the Golden Girls themselves: Sophia, Blanch, Rose and Dorothy.

“‘A Golden Girls Murder Mystery: A Family Affair’ is the 5th in our series of Golden Girls Murder Mysteries,” continues Connaughton. “The Golden Girls are returning to Resorts after a 2 year hiatus at the venue — and this is one of my favorite venues to present the show. We love its rich history and it’s the perfect summer production to relive the nostalgia but with a murder mystery twist.”

This show is also the first Connaughton wrote when Without a Cue opened in their first permanent home, the Red Rum Theater in Philadelphia, located in The Curtis in Washington Square West.

‘Mrs. Roper Romp’, on the other hand, brings “wild 70s fun to Resorts.” Guests can don their best Mrs. Roper costume, win prizes, play party games and dance to Yacht rock inspired by the iconic hit show ‘Three’s Company.’ Tickets include the experience, with themed pay-as-you-go drinks.

In past performances in Philadelphia, the local production company utilized theatrical elements, technology, comedy, and hospitality for different murder mysteries, including ‘A Golden Girls Murder Mystery: The Curse of Jessica Fletcher’, ‘A Very Brady Murder’, ‘PHRIENDS—The One with Murder’ and more.

‘A Golden Girls Murder Mystery’ is $35 plus tax and fees. ‘Mrs. Roper Romp’ is $22 plus tax and fees. The experiences will play through Saturday, Aug. 23 with weekly showtimes. Run time is 90 minutes, with doors opening 30 minutes prior to the start.
