School Reform Commission chairman Bill Green has been ordered to leave his post by Gov. Tom Wolf, the Inquirer reported Sunday night.
Green voted to approve five new charter schools at a School Reform Commission meeting two weeks ago, despite orders from Wolf not to approve any new charters.
Green told the Inquirer he will fight the move.
Wolf will name SRC member Marjorie Neff, who voted against approving any charters, to replace Green, the Inquirer said.
