Woman, 35, killed by SEPTA train after falling onto El tracks

A 35-year-old woman was killed Saturday night after she fell and was hit by a train on the Market Frankford line, police said.

The woman fell onto the Allegheny Station tracksafter shewasswaying while standing on the El platform, and fell onto the track when the eastbound train was approaching the stationaround 5:45 p.m., police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victims identity is not available at this time pending family notification.
