A woman was attacked during a home invasion along the1800 block of East Wensley Avenue in Philadelphia’s Kensington section early Monday morning.
The 42-year-old woman was struck in her head with a handgun inside her bedroom during the burglary, which police say was committed by three men.
The victim reported that her two cell phones, keys and $27 were stolen in the crime.
Police described all three suspects as Hispanic males, ranging in height from 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9. All three men were wearing black gloves.
Two of the suspects were wearing black masks and the third had on a gray mask.
The tallest suspect, standing about 5-foot-9, was wearing a black jacket and black pants. The second suspect, standing about 5-foot-8, was wearing blue pants and a dark jacket. The shortest suspect, standing about 5-foot-7, was wearing dark clothes.
The suspects entered the victim’s home through a rear door.
