Woman found murdered

Police discovered a woman’s body early yesterday morning on a Kensington street.

A white female, believe to be about 35 years old, was found at about 4:15 a.m. lying near a vehicle parked on the 3200 block of H Street, just a few blocks from the intersection of Kensington and Allegheny avenues.

The woman suffered severe head trauma, but it is not yet known if she was beaten or shot. She was pronounced dead on the scene and detectives have ruled the death a murder. The investigation is ongoing.
