Woman gives birth on Pennsylvania Turnpike during rush hour

The morning rush hour was very eventful Thursday for one Pennsylvania couple as a woman gave birth on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

State police said the couple was stuck in traffic on the turnpike while en route to the hospital when they pulled over near mile marker 336.7 in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County. The fathered delivered the baby around 7:30 a.m.

EMS workers arrived shortly after the delivery and transported the mother and healthy baby boy to Albert Einstein Medical Center.
