Workers stop sexual assault near Philadelphia Community College

Two men came to the aid of a woman in her 20s while she was being sexually assaulted near the Community College of Philadelphia Thursday night, reports say.

According to NBC10, two maintenance workers saw a woman being choked, grabbed and pushed against a fence near 16th and Callowhill Streets around 7 p.m.

The workers called 911 and police were able to apprehend the suspect, according to the news outlet. The man has yet to be charged.
