Major changes are underway at Philadelphia’s Sports Complex as Xfinity Live!, a longtime staple of the area, is reportedly undergoing a rebranding and will be known as Stateside Live! beginning this fall.

Stateside, the Philadelphia-based producer of Stateside Vodka and Surfside Ice Teas and Lemonades, announced the change on Thursday, Aug. 21, as the company voiced its excitement in joining the city’s hallowed sports grounds. Founded by two sets of brothers, Matt and Bryan Quigley, and Clement and Zach Pappas, the stateside brand has been among the fastest-growing names in adult beverages since its inception, and continues its run as one of the premier beverages of the local sports scene.

“If you really look at the epicenter of our growth, it is rooted in Philadelphia, but particularly Philly sports,” said Matt Quigley. “We built our following one sporting event at a time, over a decade of tailgates and supporting our teams. This naming rights partnership is a full-circle crowning moment, and we look forward to many more years of building upon the excitement and privilege it is to be a fan in Philadelphia.”

The name change comes as part of a $20 million expansion, which is expected to be completed in 2026. The desire is to transform the venue into an entertainment destination, upgrading current internal and external elements while also expanding the grounds.

Among the specific improvements will be a new central stage for concerts and entertainment, an upgraded turf area, a central, two-story VIP building featuring an upscale rooftop oasis, and also, public art installations integrated throughout the plaza.

The South Philadelphia Stadium District is undergoing a wave of changes. Philadelphia fans are already awaiting the incoming stadium build for the Sixers, Flyers, and the city’s future WNBA team, a project expected to be completed by 2031. There is also the rebranding of the Xfinity Mobile Arena, formerly known as the Wells Fargo Center, and now comes the rebranding of Xfinity Live!

According to the press release, the facility will remain open throughout construction leading up to a historic 2026 in the city that will see the 250th birthday of the country, the FIFA World Cup, and the Major League Baseball All-Star Game come to Philadelphia.
