Zika virus confirmed at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania

A student at Lehigh University is one of the latest confirmed cases of the Zika virus, according to published reports.

The school, which is located in Bethlehem, confirmed on Wednesday that one of its students, who had traveled abroad over the winter break, had tested positive for the virus, reported NBC 10.

An email was sent out to parents telling them about the case. The student is recovering and doing well, according to NBC 10.

Earlier this week Pennsylvania health officials announced that two residents were diagnosed with the Zika virus, ABC Action News reported, however it is not known if the college student was one of the two.
