A man was killed and four other people were wounded in separate shootings over the weekend, in addition to the exchange of gunfire inside a pizza shop that left an alleged robbery suspect dead.

Just after 12:15 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 6300 block of Vine Street in West Philadelphia, where they found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his head, authorities said. He died at the scene.

Police have not publicly identified the victim, and no one was arrested in the immediate aftermath of the killing.

Someone shot a 31-year-old man in his hip and leg at around 4:30 a.m. Sunday on the 100 block of E. Allegheny Avenue in Kensington, investigators said. He was hospitalized in stable condition following the shooting.

Earlier, at around 1:45 a.m. Sunday, a 31-year-old man was struck in his ankle and hip when shots were fired on the 3100 block of Lamar Place in the Parkwood section of the Far Northeast, authorities said.

Medics took the victim to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, and he is expected to survive, according to police.

In North Philadelphia, a 56-year-old man was shot twice in his right knee at around 1:15 a.m. Sunday at the corner of 12th and Huntingdon streets, investigators said. He was transported to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

A 21-year-old man was shot six times throughout his body at around 3:15 a.m. Saturday on the 5200 block of N. 2nd Street in Olney, police said. Officers transported him to Einstein Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
