On Thursday, Philadelphia will see a new holiday meant to highlight all of the unique experiences in the city. 215 Day will take place on Feb. 15, and with it comes special experiences and treats priced at $2.15 or reduced for the same amount.

“After the successful launch of Do215 in Philadelphia we wanted to design a one day event that shined the spotlight on the amazing things that happen in our city,” said Do215 Market Lead, Ellei Johndro in a statement. “Philadelphia is a thriving city with everything from incredible restaurants to fantastic venues, some of the greatest sports teams and fans, theaters and concerts, museums, major events, and more all running the gamut from an intimate to a grandiose scale.”

As Johndro says, 215 Day is a way to bring attention to their own go-to guide for everything happening in Philly every day and night of the week. “It is a chance to connect people to their city and help them explore and discover all the gems that make Philly truly a one-of-a-kind place to live and visit,” Johndro continued.

As a release notes, the inaugural 215 Day will shine the spotlight on eats and drinks, goodies and giveaways on the town. The public is invited to engage in free events with the new holiday through contests and prizes from local businesses, access to exclusive events, concerts and deals, and by enjoying special features designed exclusively for the event.

Some highlights include $2.15 off tickets to the Philadelphia Zoo to see Thomas Dambo’s TROLLS: Save the Humans, $2.15 slices at SliCE Italian Market, $2.15 milkshakes at P’unk Burger with any burger purchase, a 215 Day Limited Edition Cheesesteak at Nipotina with a free order of fries, and an abundant amount of ways to win different tickets and artistic, wellness, and entertainment prizes.

Other options span the chance to receive a $50 gift certificate from one of Philly’s top artists GRIMGRIMGRIM, a pair of guest passes to the Philadelphia Magic Gardens, a Sacred Center Wellness gift set from Sacred Path, an exclusive 2 hour Food and Neighborhood Tour of Northern Liberties (including free food and drink samples) and more.

“As you celebrate 215 Day, we hope you’re able to fully take advantage of all these exciting deals and giveaways,” finishes Johndro. “We use this day not only to highlight the unique and rich culture of Philadelphians, but also as a reminder that there’s no place in the world like Philly.”

Additionally, to celebrate the special launch of this new holiday in Philadelphia, Do215 tapped the talent of local artist Brian Langan to create exclusive commemorative art for the milestone, the release notes. Philadelphians can look for it in poster size at select locations around town.
