22-Month-Old Boy Who Fell from SUV Dies of Injuries

A young boy who was injured when he fell out of an SUV and was struck by a car has died of his injuries, police say.

22-month-old Jasir Clark, of the 5100 block of Wayne Avenue in Germantown, was hospitalized after he fell out of a Chevrolet SUV as it turned from Allgeheny Avenue onto Fox Street and was struck by a 2009 Pontiac last Sunday around 12:15 p.m.

He died two days later on Tuesday.

Both drivers stopped at the scene. No charges have yet been filed, but the Accident Investigation Division continues to investigate.
