It was a deadly night in Philadelphia Wednesday with three homicides in as many hours.
Police say a 35-year-old woman was found in the driver’s seat of a white Lincoln Town car on the 200 block of West Moreland Street around 11:40 p.m. She was shot in the chest and on her left side, and taken to Temple University Hospital where she died at 12:09 a.m.
Police say two men, both 22 years old, were found on the 2700 block of Latona Street around 2:15 a.m. One, shot in the head, chest, and arms, was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he died at 2:38 a.m. The other, shot in the legs and back, also died at Presbyterian, at 4:02 a.m.
Police have not released the victims’ names.
There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in all homicide investigations.
Philadelphia’s number of homicides for 2015 has now risen to 40, which is four less than the number at this time last year.
