Main course selections are lobster gnocchi, seared scallops with spinach truffle puree and a filet mignon. For dessert, try Scarpetta’s signature espresso budino.

Dinner Party with Ari Miller of Musi

If you’re serious about food, this is the event for you. Reserve a spot for a special dinner cooked by the restaurateur named “Best Chef of 2019” by Philadelphia Magazine. Ari Miller, chef and owner of Musi BYOB in Pennsport, teams up with Primal Supply Meats for a one-night only dinner you won’t forget. Miller is known for featuring local meats and produce cooked with Middle Eastern flavors.

Gipsy Kings

The Grammy award winning Gipsy Kings combine pop, flamenco and salsa for a concert that will raise the roof at Parx Casino’s Xcite Center. The group’s dance-worthy signature sound attracts millions of Spotify listeners each month. Flamenco guitars and energetic Spanish vocals will make this a night to remember in the casino’s dazzling venue. Each concert ticket for the Gipsy Kings also includes a digital download of their upcoming live album released on. Doors for the concert are at 6:30 p.m.

Urban Farmer’s Beer-B-Q

Celebrate the end of summer with a barbecue on the Parkway. Steakhouse Urban Farmer takes their cuisine to the sidewalk for this special dinner with BBQ platters, live music and lawn games. Outlaw Music Festival

The touring music festival organized by the original country music outlaw Willie Nelson returns to the Mann Center on Friday. Nelson himself will perform along with other top tier acts including Bonnie Rait, Alison Krauss and Gov’t Mule. Nelson canceled several tour dates in August due to health issues but is scheduled to get back on the road for his festival tour.
