Late Night Cabaret kicks off at the Black Box at Underground Arts with Philly’s own hip-hop/jazz outfit Black Landlord and seasoned actor/director Greg Giovanni of the Big Mess Cabaret. They will bring you high-energy hip-hop and a fairly saucy “openstage” variety show, respectively.

This musical Pat Finnerty, part of the Fringe Festival, follows the story of an average man who leads a mundane life, until he encounters a lid in a meadow that can lead him either to a life of excitement, or back to his ordinary existence. Pat Finnerty, Brian Ashby, Jess Conda and Ali Wadsworth tell the story through original songs inspired by ’60s British rock.

This four-act musical follows four generations of a family in the mythical city of New Albion.
