Abducted Child Found Uninjured

State Police have ended the Amber Alert concerning the abduction of an infant from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after finding the child uninjured and taking his mother into custody.

Police located the infant and his mother, Tanya Dixon, shortly before 5 p.m. on the 6000 block of Kingsessing Avenue. Charges have not yet been filed against Dixon.

Dixon took the child from the Intensive Care Unit with an alarm sensor attached to his umbilical cord.
