Happy Tuesday. We’ve got a decent amount of news happening today in court and on the political front. Here is today’s afternoon headline roundup:

The company that owns the Inquirer and Daily News has plans to slash even more positions as it prepares for a sale.

A 21-year-old has been charged with slashing tires in the Northeast, but more vandalism was reported overnight.

In Day 2 of the priest sex abuse trial, prosecutors introduced documents showing Monsignor William Lynn misled parishioners about a priest who was on leave.

Mayor Nutter and other mayors in Pennsylvania are in Harrisburg today to blast state lawmakers over proposed legislation that would penalize municipalities that enact their own gun laws.

Also in politics, the Philadelphia Schools head blamed the deficit on the previous administration’s bad fiscal policies.
