Pennsylvania State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a newborn abducted from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
The two-day-old black male child was taken from the hospital around noon today by Tonya Dixon, 39, a black female
last seen wearing cream-colored pants, a yellow shirt, black jacket and
a long black wig.
Dixon fled in a silver Dodge four-door
sedan driven by an unidentified person.
The child, who had an alarm sensor attached to his
umbilical cord, is in need of medical
attention. He was last seen wearing a diaper
and a onesie.
Anyone with information about the abduction is asked to call 911 immediately.
