An Elmwood man is under arrest in connection with the slashing of a woman’s face Thursday on the Schuylkill River Trail.
Isiah Cheeseboro, 29, of South Daggett Street, was charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and related offenses for the random attack, Philly.com reported.
The 24-year-old victim in the case told police she was walking the trail with a friend just before 3 p.m. Thursday when the two noticed a man following them whom they didn’t recognize.
The man approached the women as they climbed steps onto the Walnut Street Bridge, told the victim “you don’t know anything,” and left a 3-inch cut in the woman’s forehead with a sharp object.
