The Citizens Crime Commission and Rite Aid Corporation are offering a $5000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two men who robbed a Mount Airy Rite Aid Tuesday night.
The armed men entered the store at 1315 E. Washington Lane at 8:30 p.m. The first suspect ordered an employee to open the cash register and took $300 to $400 while the second suspect stood next
to another employee with a handgun. The first suspect then
ordered the employee to open a second register, but he was unable. The men fled on foot.
The first suspect is described as a 5’3″ black male in his late teens to early 20s of medium build wearing a red t-shirt and black pants. The second suspect is a 5’7″ black male in his late teens to early 20s of thin build with a white t-shirt and blue pants.
