B-West’s knee looks ‘terrible’

That 27-yard screen pass against Dallas was most likely Brian Westbrook’s last play as an Eagle.

The running back may be forced to retire due to a lingering left knee injury, according to NBC’s Howard Eskin. While Westbrook also battled a bum right ankle and two concussions last season, Eskin said his knee is in “terrible shape” and he wouldn’t be able to pass a physical. Since the Eagles owe Westbrook $7.25 million, they’ll probably cut him. Neither the Eagles nor Westbrook were available for comment.
