Bloktoberfest returns to South Street

South Street’s Bloktoberfest is coming back to Philly for its eighth year on Oct. 15 from noon to 9 p.m. for a neighborhood fest in celebration of beer, music, food and Philly. Bloktoberfest is an all-ages, free to attend event.

The festival is sticking to its traditions by hauling in heaps of premium craftbeers, yummy foodand live music from popular area bands. All of these family-friendly activities will cover over four blocks of South Street.

If you’re thirsty, there will be a premium beer station at 15thand South with beer stations at each intersection throughout the block party. To make it even better, all proceeds from the beer sales go to a variety of charities, which involve theeducation, green space, public safety and community development for the neighborhood that hosts the event yearly.
