The front windows of Boyds were shattered Tuesday morning after a smash-and-grab heist targeted the high-end men’s store in City Center, police said.
Burglars made off with more than $45,000 worth of merchandise, including hats, jackets and other menswear in a heist that happened around 4:45 a.m., investigators said.
Authorities released surveillance footage Wednesday morning, which shows several suspects driving upto the store on Chestnut Street in two vehicles. A red Toyota Rav4 was used to smash the building’s front window, and thieves then entered the store and grabbed merchandise. They then sped off in a silver Mercedes Benz.
