Broad Street Line Service Resumed After Reported Shooting

SEPTA has resumed normal service on the Broad Street Line after a reported shooting near the Allegheny station.

Philadelphia police responded to a shooting on the street level near Allegheny and requested that SEPTA hold up service in case the suspect fled onto the system.

SEPTA mobilized shuttle buses between Erie and Girard briefly, but have opened things back up after the station was checked and ruled clear, a SEPTA spokeswoman said.
