Brown nominated for Hank Aaron Award

Domonic Brown has been nominatd for the 2013 Hank Aaron Award.

The honor seeks to recognize the Most Outstanding Offensive Performer in each league. All 30 MLB clubs receive a nominee. The winner is chosen by a combination of fan voting and a special panel of Hall of Fame players, led by Hank Aaron.

Phillies fans can vote for Brown here. Voting closes on Oct. 10 and a winner will be announced during the World Series.

Brown led the Phils in home runs (27), RBIs (83) and slugging percentage (.494). He also was selected to his first All-Star Game, while belting 12 home runs in May. Brown was the first Phillie to hit 12 homers in a month since Ryan Howard stroked 14 in 2006.
