Those who dine at this Polish locale on Mother’s Day (May 11) will be able to indulge in a sweet and savory brunch menu. Stand-out dishes span babka ($9, aka French toast) with apple powidła and black walnut butter; Tost z Awokado ($16) with toasted rye, avocado, a jammy egg, and roe; and Kurczak z Rożna ($35), a rotisserie chicken dish with potatoes and cabbage.

There are two reasons to head to The Rittenhouse to celebrate the special lady in your life. First, The Rittenhouse Spa & Club is partnering with Lola’s Apothecary for an exclusive fragrance blending workshop on May 10th, led by Lola’s Apothecary experts. The 30-minute workshops are available to schedule online and allow you to create your own custom blend to take home.
Then on Sunday, May 11, locals can make reservations at Lacroix for a massive brunch buffet featuring seasonal favorites, chef-curated stations, desserts and much more. Reservations are available from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. via Resy, and come out to be $150 per person and $75 per child.

Those looking to do something a bit different for Mother’s Day in Philadelphia can head to the Betsy Ross House on May 10 for an event in partnership with the Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers. From 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., participants can learn to make their own needle book (materials will be provided), plus, enjoy a tour of the historic home of America’s most famous flag maker.
