Construction worker dies after falling through roof of Sam’s Club in Northeast Philly

A man was killed in a construction accident this afternoon at Sam’s Club in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police said the man, who appears to be a white male in his 40s, was working on the alarm system of the store on the 1000 block of Franklin Mills Circle shortly before 1:40 p.m. when he fell through the roof. He suffered severe head trauma and died on the scene a short time later.

The man’s identity has not yet been released.
