Man shot to death inside South Philadelphia home

A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in South Philadelphia afternoon.

Police said the attack took place inside a residence on the 1800 block of South Juniper Street near 13th and Moore streets around 4:20 p.m. The man, described only as a white male, was shot in the left thigh and lower stomach and died on the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a gray hoodie who fled in a white vehicle that was last seen driving west on Moore Street from Juniper Street, according to preliminary information. No arrests have yet been made, and the victim’s identity has not yet been released.
