Couple guilty in stealing laptops

A former fifth-grade teacher and her boyfriend pleaded guilty yesterday to stealing 45 laptops from Ethan Allen Elementary and selling them to a pawn shop.

Kathleen Kremis and Thomas Perry admitted to the theft after being busted last October. Both were sentenced to 6 to 12 months, but Kremis will go straight to a drug treatment program and Perry will be put on house arrest.
