Police have identified a husband and wife killed during a crash with a tractor trailer Sunday night in Chester County.
Matthew Petke, 39, and Brenda Petke, 45, of Wilmington, Del., were killed in the collision on Route 41 in front of the Taqueria Moroleon Mexican Restaurant in Kennett Township. The accident occurred at about 7 p.m.
Police said the Petkes had just pulled out of the parking lot of the restaurant when they were struck by an oncoming tractor trailer.
The collision caused the tractor trailer to careen off the road, spilling fuel. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
