Ensemble Arts Philly recently opened Curtain Call, an all-day café and cocktail lounge located in the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts plaza. The space officially opened last week, and is open to all — no performance ticket is required.
“Curtain Call aims to enhance the cultural experience for visitors by offering a dynamic space to relax and socialize while enjoying a morning coffee or happy hour on Broad Street,” said Ensemble Arts Philly’s Lauren Woodard Hall in a statement.

Curtain Call will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be extended hours on performance nights, with last call one-hour post-performance. (This applies to all events at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Miller Theater, and the Academy of Music.)

During daytime hours, the Curtain Call menu will offer hot beverages, salads and elevated sandwiches. At night, the venue transforms into a cocktail lounge, offering an array of small sharing plates complemented by specialty cocktails. There is also a happy hour on weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m.
