A Delaware County police officer was shot several times in a reported ambush near the Folcroft rail station, leading to a manhunt for the shooter that affected area rail service before four people were taken into custody.
Around 10 a.m. on Friday, Officer Christopher Dorman, 25 , was shot in the face, torso and lower extremities while responding to a report of drug activity near the corner of Primos and Elmwood streets in Folcroft, 6ABC reported.

The officer, who took a total of three shots while one remained lodged in his bulletproof vest, was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition, according to Fox29.
