Investigators gained entry into her home at the New Orleans Park apartments on the 900 block of South Avenue around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday and reportedly found the apartment disheveled and splattered with blood with no sign of forced entry. Benson’s naked body was found in a bathtub, Philly.com reported.

Investigators believe that Benson knew her attacker and that she was strangled.

Benson was reportedly last seen in the parking lot of her apartment complex on Tuesday night. Her car was still at the scene.
