Divers returned to the choppy waters of the Schuylkill River Sunday morning hoping to find more clues that could help locate missing student Shane Montgomery, reports said.

About 10 divers from the Garden State Underwater Recovery Unit waded back into the river one week after finding the missing Roxborough man’s keys near the river’s banks, according to NBC10.

The find was the only breakthrough since security cameras from a Main Street nail salon captured footage of Montgomery heading toward and then walking across the towpath that crosses the Manayunk Canal the morning of his disappearance. The towpath, which leads to a parking lot, sits behind the salon.

The camera did not record anything further.

The 21-year-old West Chester student vanished early Thanksgiving morning.

A reward for information on Montgomery’s disappearance has climbed to $65,000.
