Donovan McNabb clarified previous comments he made regarding Robert Griffin III.
The former Eagles quarterback had come under fire for saying that RG3 had “too much” going on his life in a previous interview. He also insinuated that racism may have had something to do with his treatment.
McNabb appeared via telephone on the NFL Network Tuesday.
“I am a fan of his,” McNabb said. “I have watched him, I have watched the young generation that is playing now. I have been a fan and love the game of football.”
McNabb said he enjoys talking to the younger guys and preparing them for life in the NFL.
