Double shooting in Kensington claims one life

A double shooting in Kensington last night claimed the life of one man and left a second man hospitalized in critical condition.

Police said that shots rang outon the 600 block of East Ontario Street shortly before 6 p.m. A man believed to be in his mid-20s or early 30s was shot in the torso and died on the scene.

A 22-year-old man was shot once in the chest and twice in the right arm. He is in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.

There is no word on a motive, and no arrests have yet been made.
