DUI suspect crashes into popular Philly music venue

A DUI suspect crashed into a popular, and newly opened, Fishtown music venue.

Just after 2 a.m. on Thursday morning, a driver crashed a Mazda sedan into the exit doors of the Fillmore Philadelphia on East Allen Street, NBC reported, adding that no concerts were scheduled at the time.

Police suspect that the driver was drunk at the time of the crash, CBS added.

The crash left front-end damage to the vehicle and damaged the Fillmore’s doors, NBC added.

The driver was treated for minor injuries at Hahnemann Hospital, according to CBS.

The Fillmore was recently opened in October.
