Somewhere Donovan Mc-Nabb is laughing. He’s laughing because he knows the Eagles are in the Giants’ heads. He also knows his team is in good position to win its sixth NFC East title since 2001.
“You remember November, December and January,” he said. “You want to hit the playoffs rolling.”
McNabb’s Eagles have won three straight against New York. If they make it four, they would sweep the season series and throw the Giants a full two games behind them in the standings.
“This is a must-win situation for both teams because this puts us at 9-4,” McNabb said. “They are looking at it the same way of them being able to put themselves closer in the Wild Card position.”
Add in a Dallas loss to San Diego and the Eagles would find themselves in sole possession of first with three weeks left.
