Murder victim Neville Franks’s uncle Simon White just reported that the men wanted in connection with the killing were arrested in Plymouth, Pa. on Friday. Lamar Alexander, the alleged triggerman, remains in custody but alleged accomplice Jerek Anderson was released. The latter fact leaves White worried that a witness could be silenced.
White was distributing flyers about the wanted men in the neighborhood Thursday and thinks that led someone who knew where they were to contact authorities. A spokesman for the U.S. Marshal’s Service says Wanamaker was taken into custody at an apartment, where he’d been hiding, without incident around 1 p.m.
