Police are investigating a home invasion in South Philadelphia last night.
Two men, aged 47 and 53, were inside a house on the 1700 block of Passyunk Avenue shortly after 11:08 p.m. when five men, two black and three Cambodian, came through the front door.
One assailant pointed a gun at the first man’s head and ordered both of the victims to get on the floor. Another offender took a wallet belonging to the second man.
The man with the gun ordered the victims into the basement and told them to stay there for ten minutes or he would kill them.
After waiting, the victims returned upstairs to find their house ransacked.
The robbers made away with $100, a 42″ flat-screen television and two pairs of diamond earrings from different rooms in the house.
Neither victim was injured.
Police have no further description of the offenders and have not yet made any arrests.
