Police: Investigators Questioning Driver that Struck Elderly Man in CBP Hit-and-Run

Investigators have identified the driver that hit a 91-year-old man outside Citizen’s Bank Ballpark last Tuesday night and are questioning the person, a police spokeswoman confirmed.

No charges have been filed at this time.

A search for a silver Nissan pick-up truck with Delaware tags was sparked when the vehicle plowed into the victim at 8th Street and Pattison Avenue as he was leaving the Phillies game, then sped away.

The man was hospitalized for head lacerations, but has been released and is reportedly doing well.
