Frankford shooting leaves one critical

Authorities are investigating a shooting in Frankford Friday evening.

Police responded to the 5200 block of Oxford Avenue around 6:44 p.m., where they found a man, 26, laying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder.

He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.

The suspect is described as an unknown black male with a dark complexion wearing a puffy jacket who was last seen running eastbound through the alleyway.

No arrests have yet been made. The investigation is ongoing.
